A bold sports-betting recommendation platform, built to scale beyond its beta

Sure Pick Sports wanted a flashy, edgy website for its prototype sports-betting recommendation system. We designed and developed the platform with scalability in mind while it was in beta.

The project

The challenge

Sure Pick Sports was building a prototype system that recommends sports bets, and it needed a website with a flashy, edgy look that would stand out.

Prototypes often become production systems faster than planned. Sports traffic is also spiky, surging before kickoff and on big game days, so the platform had to be ready to grow past its beta without a rewrite.

What we built

We designed and developed the platform strategically, with scalability in mind from the prototype stage. Designing for scale early means a platform can take on more users and heavier game-day traffic without being rebuilt.

On the design side, we gave Sure Pick Sports the bold look it asked for: a near-black base with electric cyan and red accents that feels fast and high-energy.

The result

  • Sure Pick Sports got the flashy, edgy website it wanted for its beta.
  • The platform was designed and developed with scalability in mind, so it could grow beyond the prototype stage.

Where AI takes it next

How we'd extend this product with today's AI — the same thinking we bring to every client roadmap.

  1. 01

Explainable picks: every recommendation comes with a plain-English rationale, such as injuries, line movement, or matchup history, generated from the model's actual inputs so users see why, not just what.

  2. 02

A graded public track record: score every past pick against the closing line and the final result, so the model's accuracy is measured instead of claimed.

  3. 03

Line-movement alerts: an agent watches odds across sportsbooks and notifies users when a line moves enough to change a recommendation.

  4. 04

Responsible-gaming guardrails: detect patterns like chasing losses or fast-rising stakes, respond with limits and cool-off prompts, and check location so features run only where sports betting is legal.
