Terms of Use

Last updated

These terms apply to your use of nextgencode.com (the “site”), operated by NextGen Code Company (“NextGen Code,” “we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. Client engagements are governed by a separate written agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.

Information, not professional advice

Articles, templates, glossary entries, cost ranges and other content on the site are general information. They aren't legal, tax, accounting, financial or investment advice, and they may not fit your situation. Talk to a qualified professional before acting on them.

The AI Readiness Assessment

The assessment and its time-savings estimate are self-reported, simplified tools meant to start a conversation. Scores and estimates depend entirely on your answers and the stated assumptions, and they are not a guarantee of any result.

Templates and resources

You may copy and adapt templates we publish (such as the AI policy template) for use inside your own organization. You may not resell them or republish them as your own content.

Intellectual property

The site, including its text, design, graphics, logos and code, is owned by NextGen Code Company or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Client names and project descriptions appear with reference to work we performed; their trademarks belong to their owners.

Acceptable use

  • Don't misuse the site, interfere with its operation or try to access it in unauthorized ways.
  • Don't submit unlawful, harmful or misleading content, or other people's information without permission.
  • Don't use automated means to submit forms or scrape the site in a way that degrades it for others.

Links to other sites

The site links to third-party websites and tools for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Content can become outdated as technology and regulations change.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextGen Code Company won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
