One platform for car enthusiasts to meet up, learn, and trade parts
Grand Car Community set out to bring car enthusiasts together. We built its landing page, mobile app, and web application, giving members one place to host local car meets, learn in forums, and trade parts.

The project
The challenge
Grand Car Community set out to bring car enthusiasts together around three things: hosting local car meets, educating members through forums, and exchanging vehicle parts and other items in a marketplace.
Those activities usually live in separate places, such as social media groups, old forum sites, and classifieds, which makes it hard to build one community around them. The platform needed to cover all three and work on members' phones and on the web.
What we built
We built three pieces: a landing page to introduce the community and bring in new members, a mobile app, and a web application.
Together they gave members one place to host and find local car meets, learn from each other in the forums, and exchange vehicle parts and other items in the marketplace.
Building for both phone and web matched how enthusiasts spend their time: meets happen in parking lots and on the road, while long forum threads and marketplace listings are easier to work through on a bigger screen.
The result
- We delivered a landing page, a mobile app, and a web application.
- Meets, forums, and a parts marketplace came together in one platform for car enthusiasts.
Where AI takes it next
How we'd extend this product with today's AI — the same thinking we bring to every client roadmap.
- 01
Photo-to-listing for the marketplace: a member snaps a part, and a vision model identifies it, suggests fitment by make, model, and year, drafts the listing, and proposes a price from comparable listings.
- 02
A forum answer engine built on RAG (retrieval-augmented generation, which lets an AI answer from a specific body of content): "Why does my car idle rough after a cold start?" gets an answer drawn from the community's own threads, with links to the original posts.
- 03
Marketplace trust and safety: AI that flags scam patterns, reused photos, and suspicious pricing before a buyer sees the listing.
- 04
Meet matching: recommend nearby meets based on a member's car, location, and past RSVPs, and draft a recap post from the photos members upload afterward.

A bold sports-betting recommendation platform, built to scale beyond its beta
Sure Pick Sports wanted a flashy, edgy website for its prototype sports-betting recommendation system. We designed and developed the platform with scalability in mind while it was in beta.
A faster, modular React storefront on Shopify for an Apple Watch band brand
Braxley Bands needed a website that was fast, modular, and worked with Shopify. We built a React.js storefront on the Shopify API that loaded faster than builder sites and automated fulfillment and abandoned-cart notifications.
A Shopify site and WordPress blog for a skincare brand that outgrew Squarespace
Mirra Skincare, a science-first skincare brand, had outgrown its Squarespace website. We built a Shopify landing page and connected a WordPress blog so commerce and content each ran on a platform built for the job.
