If the general thought is that inclusion makes people feel good, then why wouldn’t it be for everyone? A goal of education is to help children reach their potential and become productive members of society. When people feel good, they have a greater capacity to function to their potential in every aspect of their lives. There are sports, clubs, assemblies, and other non-academic activities that help children become well rounded and more receptive to learning. If overall needs are important for all children, they are equally important to the growth of a child with a disability too.
